I am a Computer Science PhD student at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, New York advised by Prof. Tomek Strzalkowski. My research interests broadly lie in the areas of Natural Language Processing and Conversational AI. Particularly, I am interested in exploring ways to make digital assistants or applications empathetic towards their users. My research goal is to build emotionally intelligent systems with human-like reasoning capabilities. Find more details of my current research here.
Outside my work hours I am an avid reader of biographies, mystery and crime fiction. Eating and cooking is what keeps me sane and blissful among all the chaos around!
